Online Research When doing research online, make sure to keep the following things in mind: Who created this site? Is it a reputable institution like a university, museum, or government agency? What is the purpose of the site? Is it designed to inform, entertain, or to promote a product or idea? Can you find this information somewhere else? When doing research, always check more than one source. Do multiple sources have the same information? If you can find it in more than one place, it is more likely to be good information.
