Project Scenario  In preparation for your band’s first concert, you have been asked to produce a series of promotional material;  Band flyer  Magazine cover  Newsletter for your fanclub

Band Flyer  What information do you need to include in your flyer?  Look at the flyer examples and annotate all the different features you can find. Some of the key features to look out for include;  Content  Event title  Names of performing bands  Time and date  Entry cost  House style  Colours  Images  Font  Theme  Location of flyer (on a wall, holding etc.)  Text based  Image based

E.g. text, image, cartoon, holding, on a wall etc.? The flayer has a theme of heavy metal. Also That’s what the image gives as well. Also the picture does also. What colours are used? Creating a newsletter – Band tour!  The band will be setting off for their first ever tour soon!  They have decided to travel around Europe and play in the capitals of 5 different countries!  Each concert must be a week apart so that the band have time to travel and prepare properly... They may also want to take in the local sights and attractions!  Prior to the tour, one of your band members has agreed to do an exclusive interview for the band newsletter.  To promote the tour, you must include all this information in the band’s newsletter.

It should include details about how the band formed and their ambitions for the future.
