We Asked: Let Your Voice Be Heard About the FEVS –Released annually across the federal government by the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) to measure employees’ perceptions of their organization, workplace, and work content –FEVS data are subsequently analyzed by the Partnership for Public Service (PPS) to determine the “Best Places to Work in the Federal Government ® ” FEVS 2015 Timeframe –Administered six weeks during May 2015 through June 2015 NASA 2015 Response Rate – 72.2% response rate for HQ (947 employees responded) (highest rate for HQ) – 59.2% response rate for NASA (9,936 employees responded)

NASA Ranking: Best Places to Work 4 Best Places to Work Index Best Places to Work Index: Measures employees’ overall satisfaction with and commitment to their organization and job. FEVS Questions: I recommend my organization as a good place to work. (Q. 40) Considering everything, how satisfied are you with your job? HQ ranks #48 amongst 320 subcomponents across the federal government. HQ NASA

HQ Strengths – 2015 Innovation Index Innovation Index FEVS FEVS Questions I feel encouraged to come up with new and better ways of doing things. (Q. 3) I am constantly looking for ways to do my job better. (Q. 8) Creativity and innovation are rewarded. (Q. 32) NASA VISION “We reach for new heights and reveal the unknown for the benefit of humankind.” HQ NASA NASA ranks #1 on the Innovation Index amongst large federal agencies. HQ ranks #21 amongst 318 subcomponents across the federal government.

We’re Listening: Opportunities for Change Performance-Based Rewards and Advancement Index Measures the extent to which employees feel they are rewarded and promoted in a fair and timely manner for their performance and innovative contributions to their workplaces.
