2 Overview Links2Success, Learning Links’ 2015 Employee Survey, commenced on Friday, 6 February 2015, closing on Friday, 20 February 2015. The survey was conducted to deepen our understanding of employee views and perspectives on the following themes: confidence and trust, performance excellence, growth and development, recognition and respect, work/life balance and employee engagement. Links2Success consisted of 5 demographic questions and 31 questions, of which three were open-ended questions to encourage feedback from staff. 31 questions were categorised under the themes outlined above. Similarly, the responses from the open-ended questions were also categorised under these themes. All Learning Links staff were encouraged to complete the survey. 111 (or 58.7%) responses to the survey were received which was a strong result.

3 Summary of results by category Confidence and trust - under this category there were six questions. The key highlight was I am personally committed to the mission, vision and strategy of Learning Links to achieve our work goals. 80% (or 84 out of 105) respondents indicated they strongly agree/agree with this statement. The statement ‘Management keeps me well informed about changes in the organisation that affect my team’ showed 14% (or 15 out of 105) respondents strongly disagreed/disagreed with this statement. This total was the same for the statement the management team at Learning Links has communicated a vision of the future which motivates me. Performance excellence - under this category, there were 11 questions. The key highlight was my team is collaboratively making a significant contribution to our organisation 86% (89 out of 103) respondents strongly agreed/agreed to this statement. The key issue under this category was the statement, there is a strong emphasis on customer service at Learning Links. 25% (26 out of 103) respondents strongly disagreed/disagreed with this statement.

4 Summary of results by category Growth and development - under this category there were two questions. The key highlight was my manager has an interest in my growth and development. 68% (or 71 out of 104) respondents strongly agreed/agreed with this statement. The key issue under this category was the statement, at Learning Links I am supported with my life /career goals. 15% (or 16 out of 104) respondents strongly disagreed/disagreed with this statement. Recognition and respect - under this category there were three questions. The key highlight under this category was my manager treats me with dignity and respect. 84% (or 87 out of 104) respondents strongly agreed/agreed to with this statement. The key issue under this category was my manager provides guidance and feedback regularly. 18% (or 19 out of 103) respondents strongly disagreed/disagreed with this statement.

5 Summary of results by category Work/life balance - under this category there were three questions. The key highlight under this category was I get excited about my work at Learning Links. 80% (or 82 out of 103) respondents strongly agreed/agreed to this statement. The key issue under this category was, Learning Links supports employees’ efforts to balance work and family /personal responsibilities. 10% (or 10 out of 102) respondents strongly disagreed/disagreed with this statement. Employee engagement - under this category there were six questions. The key highlight statement under this category was I am proud to tell people I work for Learning Links. 83% (or 84 out of 101) respondents strongly agreeing/agreeing to this statement. The key issue under this category was, I rarely think about looking for a new job with another organisation. 35% (or 35 out of 101) respondents strongly disagreed/disagreed with this statement.

91 Learning Links has already started a number of organisational wide projects and initiatives that will address some of the survey results. For example we currently ran the Learning Links Customer Survey. This shows that Learning Links uses customer feedback to improve our processes. Additionally the survey will assist Learning Links with identifying ways to ensure customer concerns get corrected quickly. Other projects to commence post June 2015 include the review of our performance development process and employment engagement strategies. As well as the implementation of a quality framework. These just a few of the project we have planned. All projects will be progressively communicated to staff. Proposed Next Steps
