The key to successful IDP planning is developing and committing to manageable and measurable goals to build employee competencies and skills. The IDP coincides with the performance management appraisal period, although it is not a factor in the performance review. Individual Development Plan (IDP)

3 3 What Is an Individual Development Plan (IDP)? An IDP is a collection of goals, objectives, and activities for a specific employee.
