Incorporated Engineers and Technician Committee Development Plans The IETC will build on its current strengths, and achievements by Continuing to work with other Institute committees, to promote and develop membership and membership services We need Local Societies to promote these grades

Incorporated Engineers and Technician Committee  Develop an area of the IOM3 web site for ‘technicians’  Work with PPB and APDC to promote level 3 to level 6 Agenda  Promote Eng Tec and I Eng which are two grades of professional engineer, from three

Incorporated Engineers and Technician Committee  Advise and assist in restructuring of the Institute to grow our ' Population' group, and support current membership  IETC to become ' Advisors / Mentors/ Adopt’, working with membership, to promote IETC issues  Have IETC members on other Committees and Groups

Incorporated Engineers and Technician Committee  Identify a strategy to increase Membership, including recruitment, retention and professional development opportunities, working within IOM3 and Outside Agencies  Review CPD issues for IETC population  Organize and promote the awards for Technician of the Year 2010  Promote two new awards for IETC issues ( Eng Tech and I Eng )

Incorporated Engineers and Technician Committee  Consider the opportunity for further CPD Workshops, had two video filmed workshops last year  Promote the availability of part time educational opportunities using the web site and Materials World.

Incorporated Engineers and Technician Committee Promotion of Eng Tech IETC, working with Membership Department, and Membership committee IETC members who ‘ sit’ in Membership and support the applications IETC members operate a ‘ Mentor ‘ Scheme, for persons who want help, and advice

Incorporated Engineers and Technician Committee New IETC Membership IETC currently have a diverse membership and are recruiting new members which reflect the IOM3 interests areas in : Metals, Materials, Polymers, Mining, Packaging, Clay etc Industry, Employers, Education, Training SSC ( Proskills, Cogent and SEMTA ) Any of you want to join ?
