Countries That Use Renewable Energy By Gia Di Cristofaro 4CS Latvia Austria Brazil America

Latvia The cheapest and most common renewable energy that the Latvians use is wind power. Since in Latvia, there are lots of windy places in the country, so renewable wind energy is cheap. An example of wind power is a windmill. A windmill is a mill that converts the wind into energy. You will find windmills on farms.

Austria The type of renewable energy that the Austrians use is biomass. Biomass is a source of renewable energy that comes from the sun, to make heat.

Brazil The type of renewable energy that the Brazilians use is solar power energy. In Brazil they try and save lots of energy so, they put in lots of solar panels. Solar panels are used to conserve energy, solar panels are panels that you would put on your roofs, instead of using light. With solar panels, they let more natural light in, instead of using electricity.

America The Americans use two types of renewable energy, and they are Hydropower and Geothermal energy: 1. Hydropower energy converts moving water into electricity. 2. Geothermal energy gets heat from the earth, using geothermal energy so we don’t need to use fossil fuels. Fossil fuels are dead plants and animals that are turned into oil.
