Non Renewable Energy Resources are resources that cannot be replaced after they are used or can be replaced only over thousands or millions of years. Renewable Resources are replaced over a short period of time.

Main source of electric energy
Formed from the buried remains of plants and animals that lived long ago
Generate electricity by burning fossil fuels

Energy comes from radioactive elements
Generates thermal (heat) energy by boiling water to produce steam

Solar Energy
