For Dual Enrollment (DE), Advanced Placement (AP) and International Baccalaureate (IB) courses, teachers will add five (5) points to each nine weeks grade. For Honors, Dual Enrollment, and courses resulting in national industry certification, teachers will add three (3) points to each nine weeks grades. Note: Points are only added to nine weeks grades not Final Exams or Semester Averages.
For students taking High School level courses, grade averaging is an option for students who failed one semester with a numeric grade between 50 and 69, and passed the other semester where both semester numeric grades added together equals or exceeds 139. Note: Failing semester grade will still be calculated into students GPA.
