Through Work Experience to Employment Project implementation since 9/2015 Aim is to strengthen skills, knowledge and practical experiences of young JSs through mentored trial employment and work experience Target group: – 25 and under NEETs registered as unemployed at least 3M – 29 and under NEETs registered as unemployed at least 6M Eligibility: Employer is eligible for allowance if he creates a part-time work at least for 9M or more (6M of mentoring + 3M of work experience) Allowances (paid to employer): – 64Eur/M per employee for mentoring (lump sum each month); paid: 6M – 257Eur/M per employee for covering up to 95% of total labour costs (for 20hrs/w.); paid: 9M – 56Eur – lump sum for protective equipment paid once during mentoring and once during work experience Expectations: participants, 50mil. EUR allocation

Graduate practice start Employment Project implementation from 11/2015 to 11/2020 Goal of the project: Supporting employment and employability of graduates through gaining and deepening of their work experiences Two main activities: – Graduate practice; allocation: 29,34 mil. EUR – Work contract as a continuation of GP; allocation: 19,56 mil. EUR

Activity 1: Graduate practice Project implementation started 11/2015 Target group: graduates under 29 years who finished school less than 2 years ago and did not find regularly paid job (jobs taken up have to fit directly to education of the jobseeker) 3M – 6M/ max. 20hrs. a week/ 128,75EUR subsidy; Allocation for the measure for 2015 – 2020: 29,34 mil. EUR Expectation: jobseekers will benefit

Activity 2: Work contract as a continuation of the graduate practice Eligible applicants: employers (only those who had a graduated jobseeker on graduate practice before) Employer has to offer to jobseeker who carried out graduate practice at his premises full-time work contract for at least 9 months. Financial contribution is paid to employer for covering social contribution that employer is obliged to pay for his employee. Amount of financial contribution: Max. amount: 302,35 EUR/month/per employee Max. subsidized duration: 6 months

Successfully at the Labour Market Project implementation from 12/2015 Goal of the project: To improve the situation of the youth under 29 at the labour market, to enhance their employability and employment. Main Activities: – Support to creation of the 1st employment; allocation: 29,34 mil. EUR – Support to creation of self-employment; allocation: 19,56 mil. EUR Project duration: 12/2015 – 12/2018

Activity 1: Support scheme for creation of 1st paid employment Target group: Youth under 29 y. old and at least 6M in register of unemployed Youth under 25 y. old and at least 3M in register of unemployed Eligible claimants: SMEs + big enterprises Purpose: Provision of financial contribution for job creation in order to support employment of jobseekers who haven´t previously had a job that lasted for more than 6 consecutive months. Duration: max. 12M (subsidized period) + 6M (sustainability requirement) Total budget allocation: 29,34 mil. EUR (ESF)

Activity 1: Support scheme for creation of 1st paid employment Financial contribution: Financial contribution is provided for covering of the part of the labour costs (90%) for the jobseeker accepted to the newly created job. Amount of the financial contribution is related to the average unemployment in the region where it is provided. District with unemployment under Slovak average: 429,50 EUR. District with unemployment over Slovak average: 515,40 EUR.

Activity 2: Support of job creation through self- employment Aim is to create jobs and lower unemployment by self-employment stimulation Target group: – 25 and under NEETs registered as unemployed at least 3M – 29 and under NEETs registered as unemployed at least 6M Main condition: To sustain employment for at least 24M without interruption Financial contribution: – District with unemployment under 20%: EUR. – District with unemployment over 20%: EUR. Allocation: mil. Eur

-3 main projects with total allocation of 150 mil. EUR (to 2020) -Supporting: -Gaining of practical experiences through mentoring at the work place -Getting of work practice through part time work (graduate practice) -Transition from graduate practice to employment -Gaining of 1st employment through subsidized employment scheme -Self-employment support by grant distribution SUMMARY
