Prepositions of Time What are they?

Prepositions of Time There are three main prepositions of time: in, at, and on. ( There are many other prepositions of time, e.g.: before, after, ago, by, during, for, etc.)

Prepositions of Time In is used for periods of time.

For Example, I was born in The weather is nice in Winter. The exam is in June. I will be ready in a minute. I’m going to learn Spanish in the summer. In the past, people worked harder.

Prepositions of Time At is used with specific times.

For example, I go to bed at 11:00. You have class at 8:00. He never wakes up at 5:00. We have a meeting at 1:00. They sometimes go home at 8:00. The bell rings at 12:00.

Prepositions of Time On is used with days and dates.

For example, I was born on June 11th. You have class on Mondays and Tuesdays. He never wakes up early on Saturdays. We have a meeting on the 15th. They sometimes go home on weekends. The holiday begins on June 13th.
