Pantex is developing an EMS that:  Will comply with DOE Order and be a component of the Integrated Safety Management System (ISMS)  Will be modeled upon ISO 14001, Environmental Management Systems  Will achieve recognition by the state of Texas in the Clean Texas, Cleaner World Program

Management Structure  Pantex General Manager is Project Champion  Nine-member Team of Senior Managers to Oversee and Approve the System  Fifteen-member Team to Develop and Implement the EMS  Seventeen ISO Element Team Leaders  Every Pantex Employee to Drive the System

Achievements  Environmental Policy - Developed  Management Structure – Established and Trained  ISO Element Teams - Formed and Trained  Requirement Gaps - Identified  Plant Activities, Products, and Services – Determined & Evaluated  Significant Environmental Aspects - Documented
