New Across Government T&D model

Goal Develop, implement and evaluate cost effective, contemporary, high quality NTPS core training and development programs, that assist agencies to attract, develop and retain employees.

Key Objectives Adopt a collaborative common approach to core NTPS capability development in order to reduce duplication and gain greater return on investment. provides a consistent co-ordination point for sector wide capability development including e learning.

Key Objectives Contribute to networking, sharing of expertise and assists with engagement across the sector. Contribute to building a life long learning culture and support ‘grow our own’.

New model – features OCPE will co-ordinate with agencies to establish a collaborative training model; A governance structure be established. A strategic process be adopted for the identification of priority core short-course training requirements for agencies;

New model – features A single panel contract for core short- course training; Agreement of agencies not to duplicate provision of core short-course training; Training to be provided on a cost-recovery basis, including the cost of content development where relevant; and

New model – features Development of a whole-of-government annual short-course training calendar for core training Co-ordinated development of a whole-of- government e-learning platform
