5 What is F4E? A sector-specific programme designed to help businesses plan and deliver growth, F4E has been developed by Robert Gordon University (RGU) in close collaboration with Energy Industries Council (EIC) and Opportunity North East (ONE), as well as top tier industry partners who hold invaluable sector insight. It provides a collaborative, integrated community of support to businesses. Companies will gain access to new thinking to support their ability to scale, innovate and internationalise.

9 Workshop 1 - Knowledge All workshops delivered at Robert Gordon University campus in Aberdeen. Introduction to the Fit4Energy programme, content and material Overview of the RGU e-learning platform (CampusMoodle) Review of participant needs Objective setting Interactive sessions & guest speakers included Establish knowledge base for participants “What to do” not “What if”!

10 Workshop 2 - Action Delegates will return for the second workshop with an Action Plan Participants will check their plan and discuss this with the other delegates as well as the Course Lead Market intelligence, resource requirements and timelines will also be reviewed during Workshop 2 Peer group and external support Implementation Plan

Delegates will return for Workshop 3 to review the implementation Road blocks will be reviewed and discussed Key achievements Next steps On-going support and assistance Preparation for F4E peer review

12 F4E Approval Stamp Companies that successfully complete eight or more courses will have the option to undertake an evaluation to become "Fit4Energy Approved". This industry approval "stamp" will be beneficial as companies can demonstrate: Capacity Knowledge Intent Strategy Preparedness Quality The approval process is based upon your company’s progress through the programme and a peer review panel.

13 How to get F4E approval Programme Progress
The approval process can begin once 8 of the 11 courses have been successfully completed. Successful completion is defined as company attendance at all three workshops and evidence of successfully completing the action plan and implementation evidenced. Once a company has achieved 8 successful completions they can apply for F4E approval.

14 Peer Review Panel This review panel process is part peer review and part (immediate) graduation subject to successful peer review. An evaluation of the progress the company has made since completing the various courses and an opportunity to evaluate the early impact that the programme has had on the business. The company will present the progress to the panel The approval process is expected to take less than 2 hours. The company is expected to commit to having a senior manager present and 1 or more employees who have attend the various courses.

15 Who should attend & how to get involved!
Fit4Energy is open to any company with a growth ambition. It is most appropriate for small to medium sized businesses, however, larger organisations may also find the content of the workshops beneficial. Ultimately, the programme is open to any business looking to: Drive the organisation forward Reignite their or their employees’ focus Effectively plan Manage expansion If you are interested in signing up, Laura Wood (BDM) will be next to the EIC stand for the entire conference so please go and say hello.
