WHAT IS EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT?

National Council Job Satisfaction (84.3%) I have the opportunity to do what I do best every day. The mission/purpose of the BSA makes me feel my job is important. My opinions seem to count. I am paid fairly for the work I do. My manager builds a sense of belonging in my department or team. Managers in the BSA live and honor the Scout Oath and Law. My supervisor allows me to maintain a good work/life balance. In the last 7 days, I have received recognition or praise. Drivers of Job Satisfaction – National Council 53.9% 79.6% 68.1% 68.6% 70.6 % 71.4% 91.0% 83.2% Drivers explain 46.9% of Job Satisfaction rating.

Local Council Job Satisfaction (82.4%) I have the opportunity to do what I do best every day. My opinions seem to count. I am paid fairly for the work I do. My supervisor allows me to maintain a good work/life balance. Managers in the BSA practice authentic leadership. The mission/purpose of the BSA makes me feel my job is important. Someone at work encourages my development. Managers in the BSA live and honor the Scout Oath and Law. In the last 7 days, I have received recognition or praise. My supervisor, or someone at work seems to care about me as a person. The cost of my benefits package is a good value for the money. Drivers of Job Satisfaction – Local Council 82.4 % 70.9% 57.6 % 76.2% 67.5% 74.4% 80.1% 56.9% Drivers explain 50.1% of Job Satisfaction rating.
