The built up electric charge. For example if you rub on carpet then touch anything metal, it will give you a shock. If you rub a balloon on your hair, and stick it to a wall, it will stay. Sometimes you will have negative, positive, or a neutral charge.

 There are three types of circuits, a simple circuit, a series circuit, and a parallel circuit. They can be opened, or closed.

 Bar magnets have two poles, and an electromagnet has only one pole. Electromagnets make electricity, and bar magnets don’t make electricity. An electromagnets has a different strength than a bar magnet. Both bar and electromagnets attract iron. Both bars make a magnetic field. They are both magnets.
