3 Rating Application – Administrative Navigation Admin Privileges Access to Online Broker’s Manual Access to Builder’s Risk Application (since Admin will also be a Producer for the Broker) Access to Broker’s Producer Lists: * Has ability to add Producers that can use the Builder’s Risk Application. * Has ability to de-activate and activate Producers as they are hired and when they leave the Broker. Access to the Producer’s Console Access to Underwriters via e-mail

4 Rating Application – Administration A designated administrator will be responsible for setting up the Producers (Agents) that will be using the Builder’s Risk Application under their company name. Each Producer will be activated, de- activated, and re-activated by the administrator only.

6 Rating Application – Producer’s Console The Producer’s Console displays the various applications in the various stages of completion: Applications to be Completed – These applications were stopped by the Producer midway and the last column will display the last step completed. Applications in Underwriting Review – These applications have been sent to for consideration due to exceeding the parameters set for certain questions (i.e., Number of losses exceed 5). Reviewed Applications Requiring Modification – These applications have been reviewed and the last column will display the comments sent by the Underwriter with instructions to continue the application process. Approved Applications (last 30 days) Declined Applications (last 30 days)

7 Rating Application – Step 1: General Information Users can navigate through the application by the step numbers, but they can only go back, not forward.

8 Rating Application – Step 2: Company Background If either of these questions are answered, the application is flagged. The user will be able to continue, but the Underwriter will need to review before quoting an appropriate rate.

9 Rating Application – Step 3: Building & Location Information Links like this enable user to add as many items to the question as needed. The answers to these questions will be used for mapping.

12 Rating Application – Step 5: Past Losses Losses are divided into category and value in order to weigh the impact of those losses on the final quote. Categories include: Theft, Vandalism, Fire, and Windstorm Value: Over $5000 will be reviewed The number of losses are determined by the “Add Loss” link and over 5 will be sent for review

13 Rating Application – Step 6: Security Each security question is weighed depending on the type of losses incurred in the previous screen. Behind the scene, the application is scored and based on that score, the application will either be reviewed or sent through the process to be automatically quoted.

14 Rating Application – Step 7: Type of Policy & Effective Coverages All of this information will be reviewed and authorized by an Underwriter.

15 Rating Application – Step 8: Summary & Loss Payee Information If application does not need review, the quote and other policy information will be displayed in the Summary. If application needs review, a dynamically-created list of issues will appear that explain the reasons why it will be reviewed. Once the application is reviewed, the application will appear in the “Reviewed Applications” section of the Producer’s Console with instructions from the Underwriter. It will then be re-submitted for approval.

16 Rating Application – Underwriter’s Console The Underwriter’s Console displays the various applications in the various stages of completion: Applications that Require Review – These applications did not qualify for immediate rating and approval. They have answers to questions that need Underwriting approval before they are approved. Approved Applications (last 30 days) Declined Applications (last 30 days)

17 Rating Application – Underwriter Review Items in red show those questions requiring Underwriter review.

18 Rating Application – Underwriter Comments The questions that need the Underwriter’s attention are highlighted in red. The link at the top of the application will open a form that the Underwriter can use to communicate the required adjustment to approve the application. Once submitted, the application will be displayed on the Producer’s Console with the comments displayed.

19 Rating Application – Other Features The Builder’s Risk Application has many administrative features to manage the various users and staff using the secure side of the site: Broker Administration Producer Administration Staff Administration
