3 Important parent information
Read! Read! Read! Spend at least 20 minutes listening to your child read each night. Expose your child to a variety of reading materials. One of the greatest gifts that you can give your child is the love of reading. Tardies: Students can be dropped off no earlier than 7:10 am. Students must go to the lunchroom and wait for the 7:25 am bell at which time they will be allowed into classrooms to unpack and prepare materials for the school day. Students are tardy when the 7:45 bell rings and will not be admitted to class without a tardy slip. Absences: Whenever your child is absent, they MUST bring a note stating the reason within three (3) days of returning from the absence.

4 More parent information…
Materials: Materials listed in the supply list are to be kept at school. It is important that students have these items everyday and should be replaced if they run out. Student Papers: Your child will bring home a folder every Tuesday containing graded class work for you to discuss with your child.  Please sign and return the papers in the folder the next day. The weekly folder may also include information about field trips, classroom activities, and other information from the school or community organizations. Anything placed in the KEEP side of the folder needs to be kept at home for your information.
