FAQs Once on Waitlist, does that mean I’m enrolled? No! If you add yourself to a Waitlist you are NOT enrolled in the course, you are ONLY on the Waitlist. Does Waitlist guarantee me a seat? No. Waitlisting does not guarantee a seat in the class. You should check your positions regularly on the waitlist. If you are not moving up on the waitlist, you should find an alternate course to schedule. What is the Time Limit after the email notification? Once you receive the email notifying you of an available seat, you have exactly 24 hours to complete the registration, after the deadline, you will be dropped off the Waitlist and the next student in line will have 24 hours.

FAQs Does Maximum Credit hours restrict me from Waitlisting? The Maximum credit hours will NOT restrict you from adding yourself to the Waitlist. It will, however, restrict you from actually registering into the course if a seat becomes available. You will receive a message of “Maximum hours exceeded” if you attempt to register into the Waitlisted course. Does Registration Restrictions restrict me from Waitlisting? Yes. The following registration rules continue to work with Waitlisting.  Pre-requisites, co-requisites, links, time conflicts, and maximum credits  Major, degree, student level, class level, and campus  Special approvals from the instructor, departments, and honors Can Advisors add a student to the Waitlist Yes. Advisors who assist students in the registration process on Raiderlink will also be able to add a student on the Waitlist with the same Waitlist processes as the student follows.

FAQs Can I see my Waitlist Position in line? Yes. Refer to the Student Schedule link on Raiderlink to see your Waitlist position in line. If I miss the 24 hour deadline, can I still register into the course? Multiple Waitlisted courses can be added to your records. Which of my emails is the Waitlist notification sent to? The Waitlist notification is sent to the student’s Preferred email address. It is the student’s responsibility to make sure the Preferred email address is correct in order to receive the Waitlist notification.

FAQs Can I add two Waitlisted courses that are at the same time? No. The Waitlist process will not allow two courses that are offered at the same time be added on your records. What should I do if I decide not to keep the Waitlist on my records? It is good practice to remove the Waitlisted course from your records, which will allow a student in line a better chance of registering into the course. Does the weekend waive the 24 hour deadline? No. Once you receive the email, even on weekends, you will have exactly 24 hours once the email has been sent.

FAQs When is the last day I can add a Waitlist course? The last day you can add a Waitlisted course to your schedule is the last day to add a class. Refer to the university calendar for these dates. After that date, all waitlisted courses will be purged from all records. What happens with Non-Payment of tuition?
