1 CEFPI is a Registered Provider with The American Institute of Architects Continuing Education Systems (AIA/CES). Credit(s) earned on completion of this program will be reported to AIA/CES for AIA members. Certificates of Completion for both AIA members and non-AIA members are available upon request. This program is registered with AIA/CES for continuing professional education. As such, it does not include content that may be deemed or construed to be an approval or endorsement by the AIA of any material of construction or any method or manner of handling, using, distributing, or dealing in any material or product. Understand the role that the Needs Survey findings play in the administration of the administration of the MSBAs grant program. 3. Understand the MSBAs program and process. 4. Know about various programs relating to energy efficiency and sustainable solutions.

Establish and manage instructional leadership teams within the Aggressive Instructional Management model. 4. 13 Learning Objectives The Social Places: Designing Intentional and Opportunities for Accidental Student Gathering Places At the end of this program, participants will be able to: 1. Identify intentional and accidental social space in educational environments. 2. Identify the value of social spaces relative to sense of belonging and sense of community. 3. Leverage design characteristics for intentionally designed social spaces. 4. Leverage design characteristics as opportunities for accidental social spaces.

14 Learning Objectives Innovative Learning within Innovative Learning Environments At the end of this program, participants will be able to: 1. Describe, define, evaluate the notion of 21 st century learning. 2. Examine the learning environments as they are perceived by educators: learner as an active participant in an active learning environment. 3. Define what technology is being integrated in the learning environment and how much it works. 4. Define guidelines from a teachers perspective about the salient features in the physical environment that encourage learners to appropriate knowledge for themselves.

15 Learning Objectives Rigor, Relevance and Relationships in Career Technology Education – The New 3 Rs for the 21 st Century learning Environment At the end of this program, participants will be able to: 1. Understand how the new 3 Rs are realized in a new career technology education facility. 2. Understand the diligent and organized steps that were taken by the district to identify needs and plan the proper way of addressing them. 3. Develop a check-list of key strategies that can be employed in the planning of a new CTE facility. 4. Understand how the physical design, including many sustainable strategies, can be woven into the project.
