2 History, characteristics & management
The factory was established in based on a small dyeing workshop, founded in During the years it has been widely developing from a sewing and dyeing to a factory with a self-sufficient closed cycle of production of the cotton knitted wear and underwear. From 1949 to 1997 it was state-owed company. The main processes in our production are: knitting, dyeing, finishing, printing, cutting, sewing, quality control and packing, all in-house. The administration consists of Designers department - where the new fabrics and styles is created. Trade department, Accountants’ department and other needed for managing the factory. About 490 workers are occupied in the factory, 10% of them are administrative workers. The factory has an international Quality Standard EN ISO 9001:2000

3 Production equipment – characteristics
Knitting process – knitting on fine circular machines. The yarn is imported from Turkey, from a reliable yarn supplier we have had since the last five years. The polycotton yarn is also suitable for the equipment. The yarns we are using is combed cotton 20/1, 24/1, 30/1 and 40/1 Ne We have knitting machines in 20, 24 and 28 gg on which we knit single jersey, fleece and piquet. 100% cotton or cotton/elastane blend.

4 Interlock machines – produce interlock fabrics in 16, 18 and 28 gg with weight per square meter gr. Rib machines - produce rib fabrics in 16, 18 and 28 gg with weight per square meter gr Before dyeing process we are doing optical quality control of the fabrics.

5 Dyeing process – in high temperature dyeing machines the fabric is washed, bleached and dyed in pigment or reactive method, antipilling and softening treatment. The used dye stuff is imported from companies – Bezema – Switzerland, Rudolf Duraner , Clariant and Dystar. Our machines have capacity 30kg, 100 kg, 300 kg and 500 kg / dye lot.

6 Finishing process – For tubular fabrics we use compact calander Heliot
Finishing process – For tubular fabrics we use compact calander Heliot. For full width fabrics we use stanter frame Santa Lucia with fulard system. We also have compact calander Monfort which we use for sanforizing.

8 Printing process – We use two different screen printing machines
Printing process – We use two different screen printing machines. One with 5 colours and one with 10 colours. We have a total capacity of pcs / hour. Lots of different printing methods are possible, such as foil print, discharge print, caviar print, water based pigment print and PVC free plastisol prints..

9 Cutting process – We have recently bought 3 new cutting tables fully automatic with vacuum system. The tables will be installed during February For striped fabrics we will proceed with manual layout and cutting.

10 Sewing process – we have our own sewing department in the factory building with 100 sewing operators working. In addition to this we have two more sewing departments, 100% owned by Natalia itself, with totally 80 sewing operators.

Quality control and packing process – The quality control process and the packing of the ready-made garments is manual. Customers – The customers today are mainly chainstores and whole salers in Germany, U.K, and Scandinavia.
