8.  North American Treaty Organization  Military cooperation from nations involved that would work together to stop spread of communism  US, Can, GB, Fr, Ity, Belg, Denm, Port, Nethl, Nor, Lux, Ice  In response the Soviets created the Warsaw Pact- organization of SU and satellite nations
