2 K-2 CCSS Math Assessment Administered 2 times a year (spring administration is optional) Provides a baseline and progress monitoring assessment for the Common Core Math in grades K-2 All three assessments have rubric- based items that teachers grade independently and input into Insight. 4 Isn’t the test in Insight? Yes The test is assigned at the District level to all K-2 teachers. Teachers will enter the student’s scores into Insight using the “Grade Results” button OPTIONAL: Scan sheets can be generated for students to bubble their answers and scan into Insight DAT Team ( )

5 How do I enter scores? Insight has a grade entry screen that you can enter the student’s scores Log into Insight at: A tutorial has been provided to assist with entering scorestutorial DAT Team ( )

6 Where are my results? Results appear in Insight and Inform Watch an overview of how to find your resultsoverview DAT Team ( )

7 Individual Student Reports Individual student reports can be generated and printed for each student (tutorial)tutorial DAT Team ( )

8 Individual Student Reports The reports show a detailed look at the student’s testing data DAT Team ( )

10 Item Assessment % correct for each question (how many students answered each question correctly) Hover over each line to see the % correct DAT Team ( )

13 Which data set do you need? Depending on the assessment, you will need to customize the student data to determine growth. There are 3 options: ◦ Item Assessment (Item Analysis) by section, teacher, or class ◦ Overall student proficiency by section, teacher, or class ◦ Standards Assessment by section, teacher, or class DAT Team ( )

14 Drilling down Once the data set has been determined, there are various ways to display the data ◦ Graph ◦ Table ◦ Tree DAT Team ( )

15 Drilling Down: Graph The graph display is the default setting for Insight It displays a larger version of the Item Assessment, Student Proficiency, and Standards Assessment graphs Hover over each area of the graph to see the overall student data NOTE: The graphs cannot be printed. DAT Team ( )
