We operate three professional laboratories at our head office in canada:
The Microbiology Laboratory uses international and industry standard methods to conduct performance testing of treated goods. These tests ensure the desired antibacterial and antifungal efficacy of Ultra-fresh and Silpure treatments.
The Chemistry Laboratory measures the level of antimicrobials present in treated products. Once a customer application has been launched, the chemistry lab performs quality control and retail spot checks to ensure that our antimicrobial products are used correctly and consistently. It is also responsible for the development of new antimicrobial formulations.
The Applications Laboratory reproduces the application processes used by our customers on a small scale. It allows us to troubleshoot and optimize processing conditions prior to scale-up.

Easily Applied
Ultra-Fresh and Silpure can be applied during normal textile finishing processes, meaning no special equipment or processing steps are required. Whether applied by coating, padding, exhaustion or foaming, the antimicrobial treatment can typically be used in combination with other common auxiliaries such as softeners, moisture management systems, fluorocarbons or resins. Treatments can be used in textile coatings by adding antimicrobials directly to the liquid prior to application. Certain Ultra-Fresh treatments can also be included during the extrusion process of synthetic fibers such as polyester, polyamide or polypropylene.
