4 Ag Antimicrobials Technology Effectiveness of any Ag AM will depend on three factors: 1. Ag form (solubility, chemistry, size, etc.) 2. Delivery vehicle (polymer permeability, Ag release rate, surface properties, etc.) 3. Microbial environment (water content, pH, ionic nature/strength, viscosity, flow, etc.) Knowledge of all three factors is needed to design effective products
