3 Grandpa didn’t travel to see them, he just talked about unreal situation in the past and imagined things that didn’t happen. Third Conditional can be used to express this. It is formed in this way: If+ 主语 +Past Perfect, 主语 +would/could/might +perfect infinitive If I had got a good job, I would have saved more money. (But I didn’t get a good job and didn’t save much money.)
