6 Static Characters – do not change much during the story – they are usually minor characters who’s purpose is to reveal change and growth in the major characters. Dynamic Characters – change and grow and learn things throughout the story – be sure to describe how the dynamic characters change. Static and Dynamic Characters

There could be more than one and it could be a personal problem, a problem between two people, or a problem between larger groups or people. 13 When does the reader figure out what the important quesitons? What is the most revealing moment in the story when the reader/characters finally get the meaning or the point of the story? Denouement Slide
