Use a pretend “Social Media” device To tell me about the novel you read Make a poster- posterboard, tri-fold, paper… Draw the templates for the social media accounts you are using- or the cell phone templates- use color! You may draw pictures or use images from the internet to put in your poster: as the “profile” picture of your character or the “Instagram” post of your setting, for example You need to use quotes from your book, so start annotating

Include These Elements: Main Character: Show me who they are through their social media accounts, use it to convey their personality, and portray how they change, detail the events in the story (plot, see below) Use a quote from the story that tells about the character- their emotions etc. (a quote that helped you infer who they are…) Theme: What is the message or lesson your character learned or that YOU took away from this novel? Use a quote or picture to represent this and explain it (in captions? Plot: Have at least 5 major events in story the exposition, rising action, climax and resolution Summarize what happens in the story… What is the Conflict? Setting: ( Where/When ) (Instagram?- explain it) THINK ABOUT: how does the setting affect the story? could it take place anywhere? Or at anytime? Does the setting play a significant role?
