6 Ready to start? Player 2 – no peeking! Task 1: Stand up, wave your arms around while smiling and then sit down.

7 Task 2: Point to a window in the classroom and bark like a dog.

9 Task 1: Draw a circle with your finger in the air, put a dot in the middle of the circle and fold your arms. Ready to start? Player 1 – no peeking!

10 Task 2: Cross your legs, cross your arms and pretend that you are a chicken.

17 CAFOD believes in the dignity of each person. So each person should be respected regardless of their beliefs, gender, race or politics. So we must be careful that when we talk about people living in poverty that we do not: -use stereotypes -use negative language -be patronising

18 “.. all people who live in Africa are poor...” “...the poor are unlucky, but we who live in the UK are fortunate...” “...poverty exists because there is so much corruption over there...” “...CAFOD only helps Catholics...” “.. over there is a terrible place to live...” “... they are the poor helpless victims...”

21 Your task: You are to prepare a 2-3 minute talk on the topic of: Food and global hunger You can do your own research to find out all about your topic And remember to use the speaking tips that you have learnt today
