6 So where do we live? Let’s brainstorm as a class as many words to describe where we live – from small scale to large scale Where do I live?

7 Who can...? Name all the continents in the world? Name 4 seas/oceans? Name 5 capital cities in Europe? Name 4 counties in the UK? Name 3 rivers in the UK? Name 2 borough’s of London?

9 Use these clues to help name some key countries This B will host the next Olympics. It is located in South America. This J is one of the wealthiest in the world. It is a series of islands and lies east of China. This R is a very large country. As it lies so far north, the winter lasts for a long time. This S is located in Western Europe. They are known for being good at football, and for tapas. This C is located in North America and lies north of the USA. This country has French and English speaking natives. This I is located in Asia. It has a long coast and once was part of the UK. This A is in the southern hemisphere. It is known for kangaroos, an opera house and Neighbours. This C has the largest population in the world. It is located in Asia.
