2. The New MLS Executive Team Kat will oversee all marketing, business development, education/training, outreach, and communication efforts at the MLS. Brad Bjelke President & CEO Jared Jensen Chief Technology Officer Kat Peterson Director of Marketing & Communications Joseph Szurgyi Director of Operations Brad has appointed a new three member team to oversee the major departments of the MLS. Jared will oversee all software development, IT, and technical aspects of the MLS. Joseph will oversee the administrative process at the MLS, which includes Member Services, Technical Support, Human Resources, and licensing activities.

3. The 2015 Utah Home Buyer Report We are excited to bring you our first home buyer report which focuses on Utah’s housing market. This report will give you insights into the different profiles and behaviors of Utah buyers that you can use for your own marketing and prospecting. Participants in the survey included residents spanning different counties in Utah who were looking to buy a home within the next six months. Highlights 40% of Utah home buyers are between 25 and 35 years old Among those who are 35 or younger, 68% are first time homebuyers 80% are married 52% are currently renting their home 89% are using the Internet to find a home 53% are currently using an agent to help them find their new home A local snapshot of the home buyer market in Utah

4. In Development The New Consumer-Facing Redesign For the UAR Convention this year, we debuted a beta website with our new consumer facing redesign of UtahRealEstate.com. This new design brings the overall look and feel of the site up-to-date and will also boost our site SEO, bringing even more of Utah’s consumer market to UtahRealEstate.com.

5. Recent Releases Personalization of Your MLS Logging in, you may have noticed some minor but exciting changes in the MLS. This is part of the new UtahRealEstate.com that first and foremost focuses on you, the agent, and your listings. That is why you will now see more personal titles and menus throughout.

6. Recent Releases Videos and FAQ Now Under the ‘Support’ Tab We are beginning to consolidate the menus so that information can be found easily and is more logically organized. Under the support tab you will find quick online tutorials for getting started or modifying your listings, creating reports, and generating statistics.

7. Recent Developments Other Fixes and Updates Added two REALTOR® designations, CNE and MCNE. The commercial REPC form will now display changes when selecting ‘print pdf’. Added a ‘Email Webmaster’ link to the footer. Added a disclaimer notice to the Mortgage Calculator. Added the missing check box for 'Commitment for Title Insurance' on the 'Transaction Document Receipt' form. ‘Save’ and ‘Send Selections’ buttons on the search results screen will now display an error message when nothing is selected. Removed the ‘About Us’ menu option from main navigation and moved it to the footer. Updated several schools. ‘Rental Ads’ changed to Create Rental Ads. ‘Policies’ changed to MLS Rules & Policies.
