2. Summary  George Washington was an American general & commander – in-chief of the Colonial armies in he American Revolution (1775-83). He was the 1 st president of the united States(1789-97). He was born in Wakefield on February 22,1732. He died on December 14,1799 in Mount Vernon/

3. Role figure  George Washington was the leader of the Patriot's and he led them to victory. Also, he was a general and commander- in-chief.

4. Loyalist or Patriot ?? He was a Patriot, because he is the 1 who was the leader, and because he was against the French.

5. Did he survive the war ? George Washington he did survive the Revolutionary War. Because after the war he got married to “Martha Danridge Custis”. And He was the 1 st president of the United States of America.

6. Our Opinion.. We think he was a good person. He was the chief, plus he was the in the war. So he has to have some Courage to fight for there freedom. Plus, to help his country.

11. George’s Father  Gorges father,Augustine, was borne in 1694.augustine was a man who acquired land and slaves, he built mills, and grew tobacco.

12. Georges Brother Lawrence His brother Lawrence died in July, 1752. He died of tuberculosis. Then Lawrence’s only child, Sarah, died 2 months later and Washington became the head of 1 of the Virginia’s most prominents estates.
