Below are some simple instructions on how to use this template:
1. You can change the text in the graphical screen above or in the outline area to the left. 2. There is one default background that is indicated by “ ” .This slide acts as a space or a blank screen, use to clear or blank the screen. If you have a large graphic such as a map you could also use this screen. If you insert a new slide you will get this default background.
3. The first five slides have the other backgrounds for the set. To use more than one of these background types in your presentation highlight the one you wish to use and choose copy from the edit menu. Paste this slide where you want it to appear in your presentation, then change the text on this new slide. By copy/pasting the slide in this manor you will keep the background, text formatting and the customized animation from that slide. By using the copy/paste method you find it saves you time and keeps a consistent look through out your presentation.

2. Memory Verse Heb 4:16, “Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”

3. John 14:15 Occupation with the Lord Jesus Christ!

4. 1 John 3:21- 22, “Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us (if we do not sin), we have confidence before God; and whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do the things that are pleasing in His sight.”

5. Our Lord gives further protocol for answered prayers, which is walking in the spiritual life by keeping His mandates.

6. It is having Bible doctrine resident in your soul, and applying it on a consistent basis, by resisting sin and sin temptation which grieves and quenches the Spirit.

7. The sad fact is that all believers do not love the Lord Jesus Christ
The sad fact is that all believers do not love the Lord Jesus Christ. Capacity to love Jesus Christ is based on the intake and application of Bible doctrine.

8. If you are not taking in Bible doctrine on a consistent basis you have no capacity to love the Lord Jesus Christ.

9. “You love” - AGAPAO which is a mental attitude love
“You love” - AGAPAO which is a mental attitude love. This type of love has two sides to it.

10. 1) A total mental concentration on the object of love (Jesus Christ) and absence of any mental attitude sins.

11. You can’t love the Lord if you are walking in sin / darkness (1 John 1:5-8).

12. When you love someone you concentrate on them
When you love someone you concentrate on them. Bible Doctrine gives you capacity to love Jesus Christ.

13. 2) Mental occupation including fragrance of memories of doctrine in your soul and past experiences of walking with Christ.

14. The believer through the intake of Bible doctrine initiates the action
The believer through the intake of Bible doctrine initiates the action. He has the capacity to love Jesus Christ because of the daily function of GAP.

15. He also has capacity to ignore him due to negative volition of the soul.

16. “Keep” - TEREO - Future, Active, Indicative, to watch over or guard something that belongs to you, keep, observe, obey, pay attention to or keep in custody.

17. Rev 3:11, “I am coming quickly; hold fast what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”

18. The beauty of God’s Word is that when we keep His mandates we fall more in love with Him, and the more we love Him the more we will keep His mandates, and the cycle continues.

19. The believer must do this for himself. No one else can do it for you
The believer must do this for himself. No one else can do it for you. You cannot have a relationship with the Lord on the basis of someone else’s soul capacity.

20. 1 John 2:5-6, “But whoever keeps His word, in him the love of God has truly been perfected. By this we know that we are in Him: the one who says he abides in Him ought himself to walk in the same manner as He walked.”

21. Principle: Continued love for Jesus Christ prevents disobedience.

22. “My commandments” - ENTOLE = an injunction, order, or command, and refers to Bible doctrine presented categorically. “Guard my categorical doctrine.”

23. To do this requires the function of GAP through the ministry of God the Holy Spirit.
