Below are some simple instructions on how to use this template:
1. You can change the text in the graphical screen above or in the outline area to the left. 2. There is one default background that is indicated by “ ” .This slide acts as a space or a blank screen, use to clear or blank the screen. If you have a large graphic such as a map you could also use this screen. If you insert a new slide you will get this default background.
3. The first five slides have the other backgrounds for the set. To use more than one of these background types in your presentation highlight the one you wish to use and choose copy from the edit menu. Paste this slide where you want it to appear in your presentation, then change the text on this new slide. By copy/pasting the slide in this manor you will keep the background, text formatting and the customized animation from that slide. By using the copy/paste method you find it saves you time and keeps a consistent look through out your presentation.

2. John 17 The Great High Priestly Prayer of our Lord!

3. John 17:6-19 John 17:14 The reality of our “Heavenly Citizenship!”

4. John 17:14a-b, “I have given to them Your Word and the world (Satan’s Cosmic System), hated them,”

5. John 17:14c, “because they are not of the world,” (Satan’s Cosmic System)

6. This describes the position of the disciples
This describes the position of the disciples. They are no longer of the world and are now heavenly citizens.

7. We have been snatched out from Satan’s Cosmic System and no longer belong to it.

8. This provides one of our great benefits, the ability to learn and apply God’s Word.

9. Unless someone is a spiritual creature from heaven he can not understand the spiritual phenomenon that is the Word of God. 1 Cor 2: cf. 2 Cor 5:17; Gal 6:15

10. 2 Cor 5:17, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: (a new spiritual species) old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”

11. John 14:d, “Just as I am not of the world.” (Satan’s Cosmic System)

12. The heavenly citizenship that the disciples possess is the same as our Lord possesses.

13. John 17:14, “I have given to them Your Word and the world (Satan’s Cosmic System), hated them because they are not of the world just as I am not of the world.”

14. Because of this fantastic hatred and the persecutions that follow it, the believer needs Phase Two protection from the KOSMOS, which is the subject of verses

15. Doctrine of Heavenly Citizenship, (POLITEUMA)

16. The disciples are “in the world” (EN TOI KOSMOI, John 17:13) and Christ sends them “into the world” (EIS TON KOSMON, John 17:18), but they are “not of the world” (OUK EK TOU KOSMOU, John 17:14).

17. Therefore, we must not be like the world nor get our spirit, standards, and message “from the world”, or else we will do the world no good.

18. We are not part of Satan’s Cosmic System and should not live like we are. Instead we should be living as the Heavenly Citizens we are.

19. Our citizenship (POLITEUMA) is not earthly but heavenly, and that is what we represent as ambassadors for Christ, 2 Cor 5:20.

20. We have been delivered from the kingdom of Satan and transferred into the kingdom of God, Col 1:13.

21. Col 1:13, “For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son.”

22. POLITEUMA is related to the uniqueness of the Church Age, and the Christian’s responsibility to grow to spiritual maturity and become an Invisible Hero with an invisible impact on human history while living here on earth.

23. Even though we are physically bound to planet earth, which is presently ruled by Satan, our true citizenship is in heaven. Eph 2:19-22; Phil 3:20-21
