Below are some simple instructions on how to use this template:
1. You can change the text in the graphical screen above or in the outline area to the left. 2. There is one default background that is indicated by “ ” .This slide acts as a space or a blank screen, use to clear or blank the screen. If you have a large graphic such as a map you could also use this screen. If you insert a new slide you will get this default background.
3. The first five slides have the other backgrounds for the set. To use more than one of these background types in your presentation highlight the one you wish to use and choose copy from the edit menu. Paste this slide where you want it to appear in your presentation, then change the text on this new slide. By copy/pasting the slide in this manor you will keep the background, text formatting and the customized animation from that slide. By using the copy/paste method you find it saves you time and keeps a consistent look through out your presentation.

4. John 16:12-15 The Holy Spirit’s Ministry to the believer: The Holy Spirit Glorifies Jesus Christ, verse 14

5. John 16:14, “He (GtHS) and only He will glorify Me (Jesus Christ), because He Himself will take from what is mine (My thinking / Bible Doctrine) and will announce it to you all.”

6. In essence, “He shall receive His commission and instructions as an ambassador from Me, to do My will and complete My work.”

7. Principles: 1. The Spirit’s function is to convey the Father and the Son to the believers, and lead believers in the knowledge of and fellowship with the Son and the Father, 1 John 1:3-9.

8. 2. The Spirit is in full submission to and in harmony with the Son and the Father. He does not act or speak from Himself; nothing originates from Him and all is done to glorify the Son.

9. 3. Just as the Son did not do anything from Himself, but only that which He heard and received from the Father, compare John 5:19, 30; 8:28, 38; 14:10, 24, …

10. … so the Spirit never acts independently from the Son.

11. 4. The Spirit appropriates the sum total of Christ’s person and reveals it to believers, and is actually revealing the Father, because all that Christ has is the Father’s.

12. 5. The Spirit’s function throughout the Church Age has been to continue Jesus’ spoken ministry. Compare Rev 2 and 3.

13. 6. The ministry of the Holy Spirit in Common Grace to the unbeliever continues after salvation as the teaching ministry of the Holy Spirit to the believer.

14. 7. The Holy Spirit’s ministry is first and foremost designed to glorify the Person and work of our Lord Jesus Christ.

15. The Holy Spirit will glorify the Son by establishing, building and glorifying the Church which is the Body of Christ.

16. 8. The Holy Spirit came on the first day of the Church Age (Pentecost) and He will leave on the last day of the Church Age (the Rapture, Feast of Trumpets).

17. When He leaves He leaves with the Church, 2 Thes 2:1-17, the bride of Christ, Rev 19:7-10.

19. 10. In John 16:14, “From what is mine” not only declares ownership by Jesus Christ but also indicates a portion.

20. The Spirit has taken that portion of the thinking of Christ that is meant for the family of God, and has announced it through the written scriptures. 2 Tim 3:16-17

21. 2 Tim 3:16, “All Scripture is inspired by God (God breathed) and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; 17so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.”

28. As a result we will be rewarded maximum blessings at the BEMA seat of Christ, 1 Cor 3:10-15, whereby Jesus Christ is glorified by the rewards we receive.
