1 WELCOME to Ms. Lineberger and Mrs. Coggins’ Fourth Grade Class!

2 School Fees Please pay for each fee separately!!! Supply Fee: $12.00
Annuals: $24 before Nov. 22 $26.00 after Nov. 22 P.T.S.A.: $2.00 per parent this year Please pay for each fee separately!!!

3 Cafeteria Prices Lunch - $1.90 Breakfast - $1.10 Milk - $ 0.50
Ice-cream - $ 0.50

4 Snack Snack should be something a child can eat in 5 – 10 minutes.
Please NO soft drinks, sweets or red drinks!

5 Lunch/Birthdays Lunch time: 11:20 – 11:50.
If your child has a birthday, you are welcome to send cupcakes/cookies to be passed out at lunch. Please remember cupcakes/cookies should be store bought.

6 Procedures Students will keep unfinished work/homework in their daily homework folder. Newsletters/letters from the office and teacher will frequently be sent home in these, so please check them each night. Students will be required to turn in all work the next morning. *** Homework passes are occasionally awarded and may only be used on spelling assignments unless the teacher says otherwise.

7 Procedures Students will keep assignments written in their agendas.
Please check to make sure your student is completing what he or she needs to each night. Please check to make sure your student is studying for any upcoming quizzes. Students will sign the behavior book for: Inappropriate behavior - Missing assignments (even if parents send a note)

8 Weekly Take Home Folders
These give parents an opportunity to see their student’s work and weekly behavior. Graded work will be brought home each Wednesday. Parents should initial the folder. Folders are expected to be returned the following day. Weekly Academic Grades: - Please check for grades that are below average (below C).

Weekly Behavior Grades: Students will receive their grade based on how many times he or she signed the behavior book that week. The rubric is included on the behavior sheet. Please check for areas your student is struggling in.

10 Grade Scale 100 – 93 = A 92 – 85 = B 84 – 77 = C 76 – 70 = D 69 and below = F

11 Notes Please be sure to send notes for absences. Without a note, absences will be unexcused. Notes MUST be sent for any change in transportation! Your child will go home the way he or she always does without a note.

12 Things to Begin at Home NOW
Start reviewing multiplication facts!!! - This is something your student should have learned in 3rd grade and most of our math requires a solid mastery of these! Read nonfiction with your student. Have your student read aloud to you to increase his or her fluency.
