A Peek At The Week
-In reading we are continuing to switch to our leveled reading groups.
-During math we will focus on counting on to add more to a given number and to find the unknown part within a number sentence.
-This week during writing we will create a 4 Star story about activities we like to do with a friend! Stories will include neat handwriting, finger spaces, capitals, periods, and a neat illustration. We will also get to learn about Johnny Appleseed!
-During our Core Knowledge time we will finish up our unit on Animals and Habitats. This week students will learn about the fresh water and salt water habitats. We will also discuss habitat destruction and endangered species. Students will get to end the unit by picking their favorite habitat to create a story!
