Infant needs to move their arms before they can move fingers WAVE

Infant holds their head up, rolls over, crawls, walks

Similar for everyone but proceeds at an individual rate and time

7 Physical development Motor Skills
Fine/Small motor skills-small muscles (hands and fingers) Gross/Large motor skills-large muscles (legs and arms)

8 Finger aerobics Spider push-ups- place both hands together with palms and fingers touching. Then, push the hands away from each other at the palm. Fingertips should remain in contact Finger pick ups Fingertip Touch Finger Muscles Spider crawl-stand up behind your desks and make your hands crawl across the desk like a spider

Children learn through every day experiences that surround them and when someone shares with and talks about their experiences Examples: Seeing a caterpillar on the ground Boy who cried wolf story-Campbell kids Language development-speaking correctly Sensory stimulating environment-the tree house

Being a good example (modeling) is the best way to teach moral development

15 5 stages of development collage
Look through magazines and find 5 pictures that are examples of these 5 stage of development. Cut them out, paste them on the paper, and write next to the picture why it represents that sage of development.
