England had all the factors of production: Land Labor Capital

Resources: iron ore, coal, lumber. Water power & coal to fuel machines Rivers/Canals: transportation & accessibility for trade Sea: able to transport goods cheaply (good access to sea ports everywhere)

8 2. Labor The Agricultural Revolution increased England’s population
Greater food supply = population increase People ate better, healthier babies, better medical care Unemployed Farmers - lost enclosed lands  moved to cities - need jobs!

9 3. Capital Money to invest in labor, machines and raw materials.
Entrepreneurs – brought together labor, capital and raw materials – took risks
