3 NEW TERMINOLOGY Navigator = Kronos 8.0 is know as the Navigator vs the Classic look. Workspace= a collection of one or more widgets bound together for completing a task or solving a specific business problem. Widget= a task oriented tool or view in Workforce Central. My Information= to view your timecard and accrual balances.

5 Kronos Time and Attendance System
For Employees Log into MSM Connect Enter in your User Name Enter in your Current Password Click on the Arrow

6 How to Access Kronos Click on the HR Tab Click on the Kronos Time & Attendance Login for employees (Employee Link) This will log you into Kronos.

8 Initial Login Credentials are provided at the beginning of Employment
Enter your User Id Enter your current password Click on the Arrow

9 Here is where you go to access your workspace.

10 This is a copy of a Non-Exempt Employee Timecard.
Click Record Timestamp.

11 Below is what your Timecard would look like if you are a Non-Exempt Employee.
The top left corner will display your name. Under your name is where you would Sign Out of your timecard. On the right side is where you would click on Record Timestamp. Remember: Non-Exempt 37.5 & 40-hour employees are required to clock in and out of Kronos 4 times a day. 1. Clock into Kronos when your scheduled shift began. 2. Clock out for lunch. 3. Clock back in from lunch. 4. Clock out when your scheduled shift ends. *You are also required to take a one-hour lunch if you work over 6 hours a day.

12 Kronos will no longer log you out after you click on Record Timestamp.
If there is no user activity for a certain amount of time, the Session Time-out box below will appear. Click yes if you want to continue working in Kronos, and you won’t lose any unsaved changes. If you click on no, you will lose your unsaved changes.

13 How to Request Time Off On your timecard Click on the My Actions Tab.

16 How Approvers Approve Employee Timecards in Kronos 8.0
1. Log into Kronos 8.0 2. Click on the drop down arrow next to QuickFind. 3. Click on Reconcile timecard.

17 The approval process is due on a Monday morning following the Previous Pay Period.
Once you click on Previous Pay Period & All Home Active Employees, Your employees will be displayed. Before you Approve timecards, please check the Missing Time Tab.

18 Once the timecards are corrected, you can now approve your timecards.

19 You can now Review Hours Summary for your employees by clicking on Reconcile Timecard then click on Hours Summary.

20 Review your employee hours and make any corrections before you approve their Timecards.
Make sure that you are in the Previous Pay Period and click on All Home Active Employees. You will be able to see regular, overtime, carryover, vacation, sick, holiday, & total hours.

21 Once you review all timecards, you can now approve them.

22 Click on Select All Rows to highlight all employees.

23 Click on Approve Click on Approve Timecard

24 After you click on Approve timecard, a box below will appear.
Click Yes to Approve your Timecards.

25 Click on Approve Click on Sign Off

26 After you click on Sign off, a box below will appear.
Click Yes to Sign Off on your Timecards.

27 To review your Audit Sign Off.
Click on the Go to Button Under Go to the widget, click on Audits.

28 The Audit shows: 1. The employee and their M number. 2. How many employees you Approved. 3. The Previous Pay Period. 4. You selected and approved 26 employees. 5. Shows the date, time, and the manager that approved and signed off on the employee timecards.

29 Reports Go to QuickFind and select and highlight the employees you want to run. Go to Quickfind

30 Go to the GO TO button and select Reports

Reports Select the Report you want to run along with the time period and select run report. Employees selected and the time period. Select your report Select Run Report

32 Reports The Report is in waiting status while running. When the report is completed double click and open.

34 How to log into Kronos 8.0 Time & Attendance
To access Kronos, click on the link below. 1. Enter your User Name 2. Enter your Current Password 3. Click on the Arrow to open your timecard.

35 KRONOS 8.0 Quick reference
REPORTS Go to quick find and select and highlight the employees you are running. Go to the Go To button and select reports. Select (People) the report you want to run. Select the time period, previous, current or a range of dates Select Output Format and select run report. Double click on the report to open when it is completed. LOGIN Log into MSM Connect Go to the HR Tab Type username and Password Click on my information for your timecard.
