2 High School Schedule 7:23 am – 2:30 pm
Thursdays Early release – 1:55 dismissal Half days – 10:40 dismissal

3 3 Diploma Options College Readiness Diploma 26 credits
Gold Medallion Honors Diploma 26 credits International Baccalaureate Options credits

4 Credits & Units These 2 terms mean the same thing.
Full-year Class = 1 credit Semester Class = ½ credit Remember, EVERYTHING COUNTS so come to school and pass all your classes!

5 Grade 9 Core Courses English Language Arts I or Pre IB/Honors ELA
World History or Pre IB/Honors World History Physics or Pre IB/Honors Physics Math Course: Algebra I unless you have completed it in middle school

6 THINGS TO REMEMBER ALL Diplomas require 4 credits of English and Math
Community Service is required for graduation ALL Diplomas can participate in A+ to earn money for college

7 Electives PE and Health Other options on the sheet – choose so that you have 8 total credits Choose Alternates

12 Athletics and Activities
Students must be academically eligible to participate (pass 7 out of 8 classes) Participation fees $50 per student per year Athletic physicals Activity pass – allows students entrance to home games (all sports)

13 Important Dates May 16 – Activity Night August 15 – Freshman Jumpstart
5:00 – 7:00 pm Pick up 9th grade schedules Meet coaches/club sponsors Located in the Norclay Building August 15 – Freshman Jumpstart Half day high school orientation in the morning Open House in the evening
