Originally, the candidate with the most electoral votes became president and the candidate with the second-most became vice-president.
The 12th Amendment changed that…
NOW the Electoral College has separate ballots for president and vice-president.

8. 13th Amendment Civil War Amendment

9. 14th Amendment Civil War Amendment
Says that all people born or naturalized in the U.S. are citizens, have the same rights, and are granted “equal protection of the laws”
The Amendment did not apply to Native Americans 

23. 25th Amendment
It clarifies some confusion regarding presidential succession
If the president is unable to fulfill his/her job, the vice-president takes over
If a vice-president dies, the president may appoint a new one

24. 26th Amendment It lowered the voting age from 21 to 18
It was passed in 1971, near the end of the Vietnam War

25. 27th Amendment
It prevents members of Congress from giving themselves a pay raise
They are allowed to raise congressional pay, but increases can take effect only for the next session of Congress
This amendment was one of the original 12 proposed Bill of Rights amendments in 1789
It waited in limbo for over 200 years until it was finally passed in 1992!!!
