Below are some simple instructions on how to use this template:
1. You can change the text in the graphical screen above or in the outline area to the left. 2. There is one default background that is indicated by “ ” .This slide acts as a space or a blank screen, use to clear or blank the screen. If you have a large graphic such as a map you could also use this screen. If you insert a new slide you will get this default background.
3. The first five slides have the other backgrounds for the set. To use more than one of these background types in your presentation highlight the one you wish to use and choose copy from the edit menu. Paste this slide where you want it to appear in your presentation, then change the text on this new slide. 3. John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.”

8. 1. Definition: a. Eternal – AIONIOS, without beginning and end, never to cease; that which always has been and always will be;

9. Lasting for all time without beginning or end; unaffected by the passage of time; going on forever or recurring incessantly.

10. b. Life – ZOE, the state of one who is possessed of vitality or is animate; real and genuine; the state of existence; active and vigorous; and the period during which something continues to function.

11. In contrast, everlasting is having a beginning, yet without an end.

12. Dan 12:2, “Many of those who sleep in the dust of the ground will awake, these to everlasting (OLAM) life (CHAY), but the others to disgrace and everlasting contempt.”

13. Eternal life means, God, who is eternal life, has given of His life to the believer in Jesus Christ, even though we had a physical and spiritual beginning.

14. We are not waiting for our Eternal Life to begin; we have it now by faith and the sovereign choice of God.

15. This Eternal Life is imputed to the human spirit, which is created for you by God the Holy Spirit at your regeneration.

17. b) The believer has E.L. after death while living in heaven and waiting for his resurrection body. This can be classified as having both interim life and Eternal Life.

18. c) The believer has E.L. forever when he receives his resurrection body, which is resurrection life and Eternal Life.

Eternal life begins in time. 2 Cor 6:2 says: “For He says, “At the acceptable time I listened to you, and on the day of salvation I helped you.” Behold, now is “the acceptable time,” behold, now is “the day of salvation”. You cannot obtain Eternal Life in eternity; you have to get it now.

24. 5. Eternal Life belongs only to the believer who is never without a body.

25. If God gave you Eternal Life He is going to take care of you during that interim before you reach eternity.

26. 1 Tim 6:12, “Fight the good fight of faith; take hold of the Eternal Life to which you were called, and you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.”
