Belief in more than one god. Moksha A state of perfect understanding of all things in Hinduism. Reincarnation Rebirth.

Good or bad deeds that influence your next life. Caste System Refers to the social class and job that Hindus hold. Nirvana The state of perfect peace and harmony (enlightenment) in Buddhism.

9 Goal of Hinduism Goal of Hindus is to achieve moksha.
One achieves moksha when they understand the relationship between the individual soul (atman) and its connection to the world soul (brahman). Moksha cannot be achieved in one life time. Reincarnation Karma affects your next life.

10 Hindu Life Karma affects which caste system you are born into.
The higher in the caste, the closer you are to achieving moksha. To receive good karma, one must follow the following steps: Yoga Devotion Dharma Laws of your caste.

Saw religion as the only way to end life’s suffering. How: Kept evil spirits away even when they tempted him to give up his meditations. Afterwards he believed that he understood the cause and cure for suffering. Took the name Buddha, meaning “enlightened one.”

Life is filled with suffering and sorrow. The cause of all suffering is people’s selfish desire. The way to end all suffering is to end all desires. The way to overcome such desires is to follow the Eightfold Path.
