1 Five Components of Fitness By, Camryn

2 Cardiorespiratory Endurance is the ability of your heart and lungs to get oxygen to the muscles during long periods of exercise. For this to be affective you need to do Cardiorespiratory activities 3-5 a week for 20+ minutes. Cardiorespiratory Endurance

3 3 examples of Cardiorespiratory Endurance are jogging the track, playing tag, and swimming laps The test for Cardiorespiratory Endurance is the Pacer Test.

4 Flexibility Flexibility is the muscles' ability to move a joint through a full range of motion. For this to be effective you must stretch daily, hold the stretch for 20-30 seconds, and repeat 2-3 times.

5 Flexibility 3 activities for Flexibility are butterfly stretch, hurdler stretch, and straight-legged stretch. The test for Flexibility is the Sit and Reach Test.

6 Muscular Endurance Muscular Endurance is the ability of the muscles to repeat a movement 12+ times or holding a position without rest. For this to be effective it must be done 3 times a week. Reps don't have to be maxed out, you need to do a set amount in a minute or three sets of 20 muscular endurance exercises

7 Muscular Endurance 3 activities for Muscular Endurance are situps, crunches, and curl ups. The test for Muscular Endurance is the Sit Up Test.

8 Muscular Strength Muscular Strength is the ability of a muscle or muscles to push or pull with it's total force. For this to be effective you must do this 3 times a week, doing 3 sets of 8 or max out. To increase difficulty add weights.

9 Muscular Strength 3 activities for Muscular Strength are push ups, fly aways, and planks. The test for Muscular Strength is the Push Up test.

10 Body Composition Fat vs. Fat Free Mass. You need proper rest, balanced diet, and healthy exercise.

11 Body Composition Three activities that will help with Body Composition are swimming laps, butterfly stretch, and running laps. The test for Body Composition is the Body Mass Index or the BMI.
