2 Truman’s Cold War Policies US response to Soviet Expansion – Containment – Kennan – “U.S. should resist Soviet attempts to expand its power and influence where ever those attempts occurred” – Military, economic, political, etc – Alliances Predict how containment might be carried out by the U.S.

How is it proof that the U.S. should continue containment.
