Students in violation of dress code have two options ONLY: 1. Go to the office for a change of clothes. 2. Call a parent to bring a change of clothes. Students WILL NOT be permitted to re-enter class until they are in accordance with the dress code. Failure to abide by the NI dress code will result in loss of honor card.

11 Honor Card/Consequences Consequences for a revoked Honor Card: Upon having your honor card revoked, you will not be permitted to participate in extra privileges or in our surprise honor card rewards. There are no extra consequences for the first “slip” other than the loss of these privileges. Your honor card will be returned to you in 14 days if no further infractions occur during this time. If you should break an above expectation a second time (before you get your honor card back from losing it once), there are consequences. You will be assigned after school detention which is scheduled the following day in addition to your honor card return date being moved back another 14 days. If you should break an above expectation a third time (before you get your honor card back from losing it once), an office referral will be submitted and an appropriate consequence will be assigned by Mrs. Flake and/or Mrs. Nipps. This would be in addition to your honor card return date being moved back an additional 14 days. Misplaced/Lost Honor Cards: If you lose your Honor Card, meaning the actual card itself, you get ONE replacement a year. No more. So keep up with it! Level 1 Honor Students follow the 8 Expectations on a daily basis: 1. We will value one another as unique and special individuals. 2. We will not laugh at or make fun of a person's mistakes nor use sarcasm or putdowns. 3. We will use good manners saying "please," "thank you," and "excuse me" and allow others to go first. 4. We will cheer each other to success. 5. We will help one another whenever possible. 6. We will recognize every effort and applaud it. 7. We will encourage each other to do our best. 8. We will practice virtuous living using the Life Principles. Life Principles include RESPSONSIBILITY which is expected to be demonstrated by: - Coming prepared for class daily. - Arriving on time to class. - Observing NI school procedures in all areas. - Filling out planner daily. - Never disturbing the property of others. This includes never butterflying lockers.
