7 Differences based on Nature Characteristics are not learned, they are innate. Environment has a great influence one how we develop. Emersion of our cultures we learn from parents and teachers.

8 Differences based on Nature Girls=left hemisphere Boys=Right hemisphere Teachers need to involve both genders in contrast activities in regards to the students gender.

9 Socially Constructed differences Taking risks and expressing their emotions. Gender stereotyping is already in the works before baby is born Society forms your babies gender role. Teachers need to “think outside the box” for more in-depth activities.

10 Combating gender stereotypes in the classroom Activities do not favor over the one another. Working together Attention to whom is leading the small groups Aware of what the textbooks present towards gender stereotypes

11 Do you think the media influences gender stereotypes more at a younger age or older age?

12 Do you think that one teacher of a certain gender is more fit for teaching a subject than another?
