EDIT tool EDIT is a generic tool for the data validation The tool implements the validation of the technical format as required by the EC Regulation 250/2009 EDIT is optimised for Mozilla Firefox - FF

EDIT input dataset technical format Only.csv files are accepted (only in FF) The datasets must have 24 columns Empty columns have to be sent The columns delimiter has to be semicolon " ; " EDIT has to be used with default settings

EDIT tool improvements Dominance/Share larges unit and Share second largest unit checks The checks are implementing what is set forth in the EC Regulation 250/2009 "Dominance/Share larges unit" field has to be delivered for confidential data flagged B, C or F; "Share Second Largest Unit" field has to be delivered for confidential data flagged F.

EDIT tool improvements Update of NUTS 2013 codes Due to the changes in the NUTS 2013, new codes have been implemented for: Greece France Slovenia and United Kingdom

EDIT tool improvements Checks for 1D2 – Annual enterprise statistics and credit institutions classified in NACE Rev The complete checks have been implemented for the new 1D2 dataset Can be accepted different units: KEUR, KNC, MEUR and MNC.

EDIT tool improvements Checks for 1G - insurance s. & pension f. The complete checks have been implemented for the new 1G dataset Can be accepted different units: KEUR, KNC, MEUR and MNC. For V15110 and V16130, are not requested NACE Rev. 2 codes: K65, K651, K6511, K6512, K652 and K6520

EDIT tool improvements Checks for 1E – Annual enterprise statistics for special aggregates of activities New special aggregates checks have been implemented for data validation and confidentiality

EDIT tool improvements Exchange Rate To calculate the following formula in 3D dataset (V12110/EXCHANGE_RT)/(V11110*1000) >= 0 and < 1 the Exchange Rate file has to be imported

EDIT tool improvements Inter series checks Confidentiality checks between series without any variables in common For example: (V V V18160) (2G) = (2A)
