Rules for learning We all need think time before and after we speak. We learn best when we listen to one another with attention and respect. We will ask questions. We will think of answers to all questions. We will explain our answers.

Language Arts: Reading Reader’s Workshop *mini-lesson (5-10 minutes of instruction) *active engagement or “independent reading” with teacher conferencing * sharing Guided Reading Shared Reading Read Aloud with Accountable Talk Classroom Library donations are welcome

Language Arts: Writing Writer’s Workshop –mini-lesson (Modeled/Shared Writing) –active engagement or “independent writing” with teacher conferencing –sharing Weekly Reflection (Fridays) Handwriting
